What I like: Tested as NTSC, Pentium 4, Windows XP, SP 2, DL burner 8.5 GB/SL burner 4.7 GB. Output from media files (HD), conversions from DVD, VHS, CamCorder (DV/Cassette* *I have a conversion adapter card) were prestine with no lag on audio/video sync. SL or DL burner were equal in quality. Program is a snap to use even for those less computer literate and the HELP file is simple (just remember you have to insert a blank DVD before you can go to where the file you wish to copy is located).
What I don't like: S-L-O-W. When I say SLOW, I mean that one could easily set the system to do a burn, sit down for a spot of tea, crumpets, play a Cricket match and then have a meal before it will finish. In fact, I have found that setting it to burn just before bed, that it finishes just before the alarm clock rudely rouses me from my peaceful slumber. I have seen faster, but you can't beat the price, and FREE is worth the extra time.
