IFFIRE Mobile uses last mobile technologies working in Touch Mobile Phones with Windows Mobile and GPS. Georeferencing events: With a simple PDA phone in a firefighter vehicle the IFFIRE Mobile allows you to record your track since you leave headquarter till your return; you may georeference (time and space) accident spot, when you leave accident spot, hospital arrival, return, if and where your available for other incidents. You can store each event in a different file, keeping an accurate record of all events. Georeferencing ground resources in the field: With IFFIRE Mobile you can georeference ground resources in the field (vehicles, firefighters or other equipments involved in the incident), fires fronts, water spots, accesses, risk areas, perimeters e burned areas, command points or any other information relevant to coordinate the incident. If there is an Internet connection with network cover, all information can be sent real time to Headquarter and viewed in Virtual Earth map. You can mark places in google earth and save them as a KML file, then load it to the map. Since your both viewing your current position and direction, you can navigate to any marked place.
