EASI Express Community Edition (CE) is a security middleware infrastructure that promotes distributed application security. Application developers can use very simple APIs to perform authentication and access authorization decisions, remaining isolated from the details of the underlying security services. Security administrators can dynamically change which underlying security services are used, in a fashion that is transparent to the protected applications. EASI Express CE is offered free of charge and is supported on the Windows, Solaris, and Linux operating systems. Application developer toolkits are supported for the Java, C++, and .NET platforms.
