MADPlug 2.0

MADPlug is a plugin for REALbasic which allows developers to play back SoundTracker format music files. It makes use of the PlayerPro MADLibrary, written by Antoine Rosset.

MADPlug suports the playback of MAD, MOD, S3M, XM, IT, OCTA, MTM and MED format music files.

The use of tracker-format music is good for performance-critical applications such as games. The MADPlug engine is safe for use with the REALbasic SpriteSurface and Socket controls.

The latest version, MADPlug 2, provides extended control over the MADLibrary engine channels and instruments, and access to the channel levels (which can be used for VU meters, etc.)
