Somewhere in the South Pacific, in a rare natural event, a shower of blue crystalline meteors landed on several uninhabited islands. The shower lasted days and nights, and from a safe distance on their home islands, entire tribes of primitive peoples watched the sky with fear and awe, hoping that no evil would befall their beloved islands. As the years passed, fantastic rumors of the existence of a giant ant species began to spread among the islanders. Village elders forbade anyone to step foot on the meteor islands.
The rumors of giant ants grew into myth. You are a mercenary fortune seeker, and upon hearing this mythic story, you suspect that the blue crystals possess special properties that caused a genetic mutation in the ants. If true, the crystals are potentially worth billions of dollars for their chemical structure. Time is of the essence.
