Starmap is a stargazing companion for iPhone or iPod Touch. It allows users to easily find constellations, planets, or shooting star zones. It's a complete hand-based planetarium for beginners and advanced astronomers. It includes: 120,000 visible stars; 200 main stars with names, kind and spectrum; 150 galaxies and nebulae; automatic viewpoint using the built-in accelerometer; pinch/zoom functionality; the ability to adjust the brightness of the sky and stars to your observation conditions; full coordinates, eliptic, celestial equator; complete ephemeris, including moon phase and planet satellites.
