StandardWriter directs the teacher through a step-by-step process to create consistent and effective rubrics for guiding student performance. StandardWriter also includes banks of modality specific parts and attributes to build crystal clear performance standards that have been field tested by thousands of teachers, and it is totally customizable to meet the teachers specific needs. The teacher selects from a bank of authentic products, divided into four modalities. Modality specific prompts are provided to help the teacher develop evaluation criteria that students will understand.
State standards from some states are built into StandardWriter allowing the teacher to point and click to place standards directly into the rubric. Writing rubrics is a necessary but time consuming task, with StandardWriter the job is quick, easy and more effective. Version 2.2.1 build 82 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
