Keyboard Wizard 1

Keyboard Wizard is an educational software package that helps teach your children the layout of a computer keyboard through the use of fun and challenging games. The 20 games that are included as part of the package are suitable for children of all abilities in Reception/foundation and Key stages 1 and 2. In addition to keyboard skills, Keyboard Wizard helps teach a variety of English skills including Teaching the alphabet-UPPER and lowercase transition Improving spelling of high frequency words-Onset and rime-Initial sounds and phonics-Verbs, nouns and adjective recognitionAll of the games have been designed with the assistance of teachers ensuring that they cover many aspects of the National Literacy Strategy and can be used effectively during the Literacy Hour. Special attention has been given to the design in order to make it as beneficial as possible to dyslexic players.
