With its rich set of features and enhanced performance, the new 100% free Yahoo & Google Quotes Downloader (YGQD) can be used by traders and investors to automate the acquisition of historical quotes from Yahoo or Google for any number of symbol lists. Features include: multiple simultaneous connections for fast downloads, downloading of Nasdaq, NYSE, and Amex symbol lists from Nasdaq.com, retrieving a range or all available data, full download or update, optional split and dividend adjusted data, different bar durations (daily, weekly, monthly), data validation, several data formatting options (date format, bar sorting order etc), activity and error logging, control over the generated data files structure, a rich set of command line parameters for fully automated downloads, integration with other applications using the exposed API.
Version 2.6.4.2 fixes a bug that prevented the command line arguments from setting Google as current datasource.
