This update corrects issue where some FireWire drives would no longer be bootable after firmware was updated with LaCie Update Tool 1.1 application. Updates LaCie FireWire 400 drives to most current firmware for improved performance and FireWire 800 drives for Mac OS X Panther compatibility. NOTE: If the latest firmware is already installed on your LaCie FireWire 400 or 800 drive, you will not be prompted to update the firmware. Be sure to follow the special instructions to restore bootability of your drive if you previously used V1.1 of the updater.
