Embird 2008 build 8.4
Embird
Embird is embroidery software. It consists of Manager and Editor. Optionally, plug-ins are available. MANAGER allows to read and write designs in various formats. It can convert designs, view in 1:1 scale, and print documentation. 3D preview allows to assign colors to needles and check design before actually embroidering. It can find threads in built-in catalogs. EDITOR allows to edit existing designs: resize, adjust the density, mirror it, center, skew, rotate, and sort colors. You can split and join designs, or erase a part of it. Sew Simulator is available. ALPHABET plug-ins allow to create lettering using pre-digitized characters. FONT ENGINE plug-in creates lettering from OpenType and TrueType fonts. DIGITIZING STUDIO plug-in allows to digitize new designs, using outlines and auto-fill. SFUMATO STITCH plug-in creates multi-color designs from photos. ICONIZER plug-in displays embroidery files instead of common Windows icons in Windows Explorer.
The latest release adds Danish and Russian languages, adds support for new format: Pfaff .SPX, and new thread charts "Brildor AC", "Brildor CO", "Brildor MF", "Brildor NY" and "Hemingworth".
