GPS Atlas 5.1
GPS Pilot
GPS Atlas is a GPS (Global Positioning System) application. To use it, simply add a map appropriate for your OS (including color maps, if your Palm supports it), plug in your GPS receiver, and Atlas will co-pilot you to your destination by pinpointing your position and scrolling the map in real time. The title bar displays navigational information such as current heading, speed, and altitude. You can import maps from the Internet, or simply scan them on your home computer. Other features let you change the units of measurement, zoom in and out, beam maps to other Palm devices, and customize maps with your own reference points. Maps are easy-to-read and the included tutorial makes the program a snap to learn. Check the author's Web site for instructions on how to connect your GPS device to the Palm.
